摘要

•A single sol–gel one-step synthesis of BNT-BT thin films is reported.•The films crystalize in a P4mm tetragonal structure with great defect distributions at low temperature.•Low temperature provide film with anisotropic surface microtexture and high spatial complexity.•Structural and surface dynamics of films obtained at low temperature promotes remarkable enhanced electrocatalytic activity.
