Green Synthesized Nanoparticles via Plant Extracts

There is an increasing interest in the present and potential applications of metal and metal oxide nanoparticles synthesized with plant extracts. A search in Scopus including the words “plant extract”, “metal” and “nanoparticles” indicates that more than 2800 articles, including 212 reviews, have been published in the last two decades, most of them since 2010, as it can be seen in Fig. 5.1.
