摘要
Pectobacterium brasiliense is a worldwide distributed bacterial pathogen causing soft rot and blackleg of a wide range of economically important crops. Here, we present the complete, high-quality genome of P. brasiliense strain TS20HJ1, which was isolated from a ginger ( Zingiber officinale) rhizome showing soft rot symptoms. The genome assembly consists of a circular 4,766,353-bp chromosome with 52.1% GC content. The genome harbors 4,128 protein-coding genes, 22 rRNA genes, and 77 tRNA genes. We believe that the complete genome sequence of P. brasiliense TS20HJ1 will provide a valuable resource for understanding the molecular basis of host adaptation and evolution of pathogenesis.
