Friction Stir Welding of Nylon 6–6 Thick Plates Using Biochar Colloidal Nanoparticle

In this research, nylon 6–6 was the base material for conducting the friction stir processing (FSP). Due to the specialized mechanical characteristics, enhanced physical and chemical properties were highly accommodated in the Nylon 6–6. But these properties were exciting in improving the mechanical properties by adding suitable nano-reinforcement particles. Therefore, in this concern for improvement biochar was the suitable material which reduces environmental issues and CO2 emission. The friction stir welding machine was used to compose the polymer-based matrix composites with appropriate processing conditions. During the FSP tool spinning speed and cross speed were influenced to produce the processed composites among the similar materials of nylon 6–6 and biochar reinforcements with proper dimensions of the butt configuration process. Finally, the polymer matrix composites' tensile and hardness were investigated under different processing conditions.
