Abstract
This paper describes the first demonstration of a dye-doped nematic liquid crystal (LC) film for use as a polarization sensitive optical wireless concentrator. A planar alignment of the LC director in the concentrator provides a wide-field-of-view of ±72° over a range of data rates.
