摘要
Purpose: Spine osteoarthritis is a significant and debilitating problem that has a prevalence ranging from 40% to 80% within the United States. Spine surgery is one potential treatment for spine osteoarthritis and pain. Minimally invasive spine surgeries may have potential benefit for spine osteoarthritis and pain patients through reducing damage to surrounding tissues. However, surgical treatment can be highly variable, resulting in subsequent surgeries and increased medical cost and burden. The purpose of this study was to assess minimally invasive spinal surgery failure rates and identify potential prognostic factors for failure in spine osteoarthritis patients.
