A Mini-Review of Traditional Chinese Medicines on Liver Diseases

•2 million deaths per year worldwide attribute to liver disorders involving metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), liver injury (hepatitis, cirrhosis), and liver cancers.•“Celastrol”, “Astragalus”, and “Curcumin” are traditional Chinese medicines (TCM) that process anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-cancer activities for the treatment of liver diseases.•Modern “Nanotechnology” with these TCMs will be developed in the future to combat liver diseases.
