Abstract
Principal component analysis is applied to the problem of passive acoustic tomography. The proposed procedure allows compensation for signals of interfering powerful localized sources and the acquisition of data necessary for solving the inverse problem. Results are presented from modeling schemes with scalar and combined receivers of the acoustic field.
