Hybrid Digital Image Cryptography Using Composition of Henon Map Transposition and Logistic Map Substitution

This paper proposes a new robust cryptography method based on the composition of the Henon map transposition function and the Logistic map substitution function. This method consists of encryption and decryption algorithms that randomly and simultaneously permute data position and modify data value. Both algorithms have been implemented and tested for digital images. The randomness of the encrypted images is performed using histogram, correlation, NPCR, UACI, and entropy analyses. The results of those analyses show that the proposed algorithm is robust against differential and statistical attacks. Whereas, the decrypted image quality analysis is carried out by MSE and PSNR measurements, where their results show the decrypted image is exactly the same as the original image.
