The article will aim to examine Syal's The House of Hidden Mothers and Judith Henry's The Surrogate - by binding the discussion within the framework of objectification of women's body, majorly her womb, through the philosophical theories and the barriers of binary opposition, commodification and reductive technology for reproduction.
