摘要
The main objective of this study is to explore how e-business and interoperability can be facilitators of transactions of art pieces. Gallery Weekend International is selected as a case study, since: (1) it is an international movement with a physical and digital presence, (2) a movement that unites artists and art consumers on the same platform, (3) a movement that has promoted the proliferation of crypto art in some of its countries of operation, (4) opens space to generate an art e-business, where each country that works with NFT and crypto art collaborates with marketplaces for the sale of products. For example, Gallery Weekend Santiago with its NFT sale at OpenSea. The developed methodology is based on reviewing in detail the construction and logic of the official Gallery Weekend website of 9 cities: Brussels, Barcelona, Warsaw, Toronto, Santiago, Mexico City, Montreal, Beijing and Budapest. Along with analyzing the composition of the websites and work system of each of the art galleries attached to the event, based on predefined parameters. Finally, it is concluded that promoting and developing e-business and interoperability can be facilitators of transactions of art pieces.
