摘要
Torque sharing function (TSF) is an effective tool in switched reluctance motor (SRM) drives to cope with the problem of torque ripple that often leads to undesirable effects and performance degradation in such motors. In this paper, a novel offline Gaussian TSF (GTSF) is proposed for applying to SRM drives with the purpose of controlling the torque ripple and reducing the undesirable radial force. The proposed GTSF can separately change torque profiles around unaligned and aligned positions in order to minimize torque ripple effects. In addition, maximum radial force is also limited around the aligned position. One of the main advantages of the proposed method is routine regulation of the proposed Gaussian function for two different regions. At first stage, simulations are performed using MATLABTM/SIMULINK® to signify the quality of the proposed function at low, middle, and rated speed. Next, experimental results are obtained for a three-phase 12/8 pole SRM with DSC-based controller (TMS320F28335) under various currents. The obtained simulation and experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively reduce both torque ripple and maximum radial force.
