摘要
As sensitive receiving antennas, interconnection cables in electronic equipment can be affected by electromagnetic energy in the environment, which can significantly degrade the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronic devices. So far, much progress is made on the calculation method for the induced current of straight cables, though most interconnect cables are bent in actual use. Moreover, numerical calculation of single bent cable consumes more time and resources. Thus, in this paper, an efficient analytical approach is proposed for calculating the induced current on a spatial arbitrarily bent transmission line generated by plane wave irradiation. The proposed approach is derived by the Agrawal’s model and chain parameter matrix. With the Agrawal’s model, the incident field is transformed into excitation voltage sources on the transmission line. Then, the interference current of the load is obtained based on the chain parameter matrix. The calculation result agrees well with the simulation in Computer Simulation Technology (CST), which confirms the validity of the proposed method. Meanwhile, compared with the numerical simulation, the computation efficiency of the proposed method is increased by 40 times and the memory consumption is reduced by 80%.
