How To: ECOFFs - the Why, the How and the Don'ts of EUCAST Epidemiological Cutoff Values' - Author's Response

This is in response to the Letter to the Editor by Werner et al. [1] in which additional comments and questions were raised on our recent narrative review (CLM-22-22 969 - How To: ECOFFs – the why, the how and the don'ts of EUCAST epidemiological cutoff values). We thank our colleagues for their thoughtful feedback on our narrative review. We are certainly in support of the work published on dalbavancin by the authors—our point was that it was not possible to define a wild-type distribution or determine an ECOFF on the published data.
