摘要
• We characterize the regional-specific behavior of the spin-echo (SE) EPI BOLD fMRI sensitivity in grey and white matter . • We inducing global BOLD responses in 7 healthy adults using hypercapnia. • SE-BOLD sensitivity is not maximized at tissue T 2 , as is widely assumed. • Our findings suggest the use of significantly shorter TEs than tissue T 2 for grey and white matter.
