34817 Physician counseling among adults with high-risk UV behaviors in the United States

Introduction: Significant sun exposure and indoor tanning are risk factors for skin cancer. Physician counseling among patients with such behaviors may decrease the risk of skin cancer; however, rates of counseling have not been well described in adults, especially among those with high-risk behaviors such as indoor tanning.
