摘要

•Spherical Eu3+-doped hydrous titania particles achieved via Ti-alkoxide hydrolysis.•Eu3+-doped hydrous titania particles were hydrothermally converted to CaTiO3:Eu3+.•The CaTiO3:Eu3+ particles precisely maintained the starting Eu3+ ion composition.•The addition of HPC suppressed the formation of the CaTi2O4(OH)2 byproduct.
