Prediction of the Risk of Proximal Endoleak after EVAR by Preoperative Estimate of the Stentgraft/aortic Neck Surface of Contact

Despite the compliance with the anatomical recommendations on the proximal neck, type 1a endoleaks (EL1A) may occur after EVAR and their correction is complex. The objective of this study was to evaluate a new measuring instrument obtained from the preoperative CT by estimating the surface of apposition of the stentgraft on the proximal neck of the aneurysm, which would allow predicting the risk of EL1A.
