摘要

•Few layered antimonene (SbFL) flakes were employed in X-ray radiation shielding.•Laminated SbFL was introduced as an alternative to conventional “blend and mix” composite.•Exhibited an attenuation enhancement of 45% with ∼3 times reduced half-value layers (HVL).
