Women’s Health-Related Quality of Life Outcomes and Perspectives of Exercise-Based Cardiac Rehabilitation: A Prospective Observational Study

Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) aims to reduce the reoccurrence of cardiac events and improve health-related quality of life (HRQL) for both men and women. However, women with coronary heart disease (CHD) are reported to have worse and inconsistent outcomes than men. We aimed to investigate HRQL outcomes of women with CHD completing CR and understand women’s perspectives about factors contributing to their HRQL.
