摘要
The aim of this research is to determine how the safety protocols established for the prevention of COVID-19 affected engagement motor time (TCM) in Physical Education (PE) classes, both in Spanish and English, and the methodological approaches implemented by teachers. For this purpose, an ex-post-facto study was designed to analyze the different time categories established in PE sessions and the use of mobile apps at 12 secondary schools in the Autonomous Community of Aragon. The results show differences in TCM with respect to previous studies, and there are significant differences (Student's t-test) in the variables of TCM, organization time and time spent on the task between those sessions conducted in Spanish and those in English. These data reveal the need for further research on the consequences of the measures adopted to in the face of COVID-19 in the PE area and the importance of mobile apps a means to replace online sessions and compensate for the decrease in TCM in face-to-face sessions.
