Police

Joining the effort to illuminate the agency of the virtual and that which is outside everyday human perception, our aim in this chapter is to direct attention to a few was that the ghostly power of police enters into and acts upon the realms of the living. Such observations not only present a novel way to theorize police, but lead to an important conclusion, the very concept of police and the attitudes and actions of those who occupy the role, is nothing if not horrific, eerie, and just plain weird.
