摘要
The private sector is recognised as the main contributor to the nation's economy. However, the private sector's lack of facilities related to work-family balance has affected employees' job and family satisfaction. This study examines work-family well-being through work-family conflict (WFC) and work-family enrichment (WFE), which predicts family satisfaction. A total of 260 employees from private sectors in Terengganu were obtained randomly in this study. The instruments employed in this study consisted of the Work-Family Conflict Scale, Work-Family Enrichment Scale, and Family Satisfaction Scale. The findings reported that WFC and WFE have significant relationships with family satisfaction. Using regression analysis, family-work conflict (FWC) is the predictive factor of family satisfaction. The implications of this study indicate that the organisations need to emphasise the effective development and implementation strategies for work-family balance in improving family satisfaction among employees.
