With the increase of differential order, the dominant frequency and effective frequency shift to high frequency gradually. Therefore, we propose a new approach of seismic resolution enhancement based on calculus theory. The core of this method is to calculate the differential and integral of the original seismic data, select the differential data of appropriate order, fuse with the original data and integral data, and design the objective function to make the fused seismic data closest to the expected data, so as to improve the resolution of seismic data. It does not need to be parameterized and has high computational efficiency. The test results of model data and real seismic data show that the method is effective and efficient in improving the resolution of seismic data.Note: This paper was accepted into the Technical Program but was not presented at IMAGE 2021 in Denver, Colorado. Keywords: broadband, high-resolution, least squares, signal processing, finite differencePermalink: https://doi.org/10.1190/segam2021-3578786.1FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails First International Meeting for Applied Geoscience & Energy Expanded AbstractsISSN (print):1052-3812 ISSN (online):1949-4645Copyright: 2021 Pages: 3561 publication data© 2021 Published in electronic format with permission by the Society of Exploration GeophysicistsPublisher:Society of Exploration Geophysicists HistoryPublished: 01 Sep 2021 CITATION INFORMATION Zhimeng Gu, Chuanqi Liu, Jianglong Chen, and Chengcheng Xu, (2021), "A new approach for seismic resolution enhancement based on calculus theory," SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts : 2625-2629. https://doi.org/10.1190/segam2021-3578786.1 Plain-Language Summary Keywordsbroadbandhigh-resolutionleast squaressignal processingfinite differencePDF DownloadLoading ...
