Abstract
New air and moisture stable [PdCl2(pySeCH2COOH)2] complex devoid of direct Pd–Se bond was synthesized, characterized and utilized as molecular precursor for Pd17Se15 nanoparticles. Experimental evidences indicate that Pd17Se15 occur through the in-situ generation of Pd nanoparticles.
