Abstract
The design of a compact millimeter-wave parallel coupled-line bandpass filter dedicated homodyne radars and communication systems is proposed in this paper. This filter is designed to pass the full $E$ -band spectrum (60 to 90 GHz). Lowcost technologies and reliable implementation have been selected to realize the filter. It is integrated on a thin 5 mils ceramic substrate using Miniature Hybrid Microwave Integrated Circuit (MHMIC) technology. A prototype of the proposed structure is implemented and measured. The measured results show a very good agreement with the simulation one.
