Industrial wastewater treatment using oxidative integrated approach

•Polymer and dye industrial wastewater were treated successfully at laboratory scale setup.•Ozone and Hydrogen Peroxide were used as oxidative additives for the treatment.•The COD reduction of polymer and dye wastewater were also studied with additives.•Synergetic effects were studied with combination of additives and compared them with their individual effects.•The maximum COD reduction was optimized for dye wastewater with sonication and additives.
