Study on The Dynamics of Natural Gas System and Linepack Storage in Integrated Energy Systems

With the development of gas-fired turbines and the emerging power-to-gas (P2G) technologies, power systems and natural gas systems have been becoming more interactional. To study the integrated energy system and improve its operating efficiency, this paper models the integrated energy system in detail with the consideration of the linepack storage. Then, the dynamic characteristics of natural gas state and linepack storage with power load changes are analyzed and verified in case studies.
