摘要

Treatment decisions should rely primarily on evidence from randomized controlled trials (RCTs). However, when treatment needs to be provided for which limited RCT evidence is available, analysis of clinical routine data can yield valuable complementary evidence, but this requires integration of data from heterogeneous treatment pathways.
