Abstract
Delayed hypersensitivity reactions characterized by rashes occur in patients taking elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor (ELX/TEZ/IVA, Trikafta, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Boston, Massachusetts), a cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) modulator. ELX/TEZ/IVA was approved in 2019 for patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) greater than or equal to 12 years who carry the Phe508del mutation on at least 1 allele. 1 Middleton PG Mall MA Drevinek P et al.
