Methodology for Designing a Laser-Based Additive Process for the Formation of a Lattice Periodic Structure on the Surface of an Aluminum Alloy Plate

The paper presents the results of studying the “directed energy deposition” additivetechnological process aimed at improving the mechanical properties of thin-walled parts made ofAMg3 aluminum alloy sheets by creating a lattice structure of AK4-1 aluminum alloy on theirsurfaces. Based on the results of mathematical modeling of the process of propagation of thermalfields formed in the region of interaction of laser radiation with the processed material, theparameters of the laser beam and the velocity of its motion are determined. Software has beendeveloped that implements numerical calculations for the presented mathematical model of theadditive process. A scheme is proposed for remote interaction of an intelligent service for decisionsupport by operators of an additive manufacturing system with the created software. Theobtained results of numerical calculations in the Wolfram Mathematica system, as well as expertinformation accumulated in the knowledge portal of the IACPaaS cloud platform, are promisingfor training and decision-making by operators of laser technological equipment.
