Due Casi Di Frattura Depressa Del Cranio O Frattura “ping Pong”
Medico e bambino pagine elettroniche(2022)
摘要
The paper presents two cases of depressed skull fracture or “ping pong” fracture. This type of fracture is typical of neonatal age or toddlers, ages in which cranial bones are still malleable and not very resistant. Obstetrical causes are more frequent in neonates and traumatic causes in toddlers, abuse should be ruled out in older children. These two cases offer the opportunity to discuss about the possible complications of this type of fracture and about the diagnostic and therapeutic management.
