With political support and market growth, renewable energy has become mainstream source in power system and wind power will be a large share of renewable energy. A grid code for wind power has been developed because new methods planning and operating power system are required. Especially, TSOs are faced with dynamic stability problems due to large integration of wind power, and requirements to verify dynamic stability is presented. Hence, wind power plant (WPP) owner should deliver its dynamic models, model validation reports, test reports and commissioning reports to TSO. Consequently, everyone concerned to WPP development should understand clearly dynamic simulation requirements from the early stage of project, and the exact models and reports can be delivered to TSO on time. Emphasis in this paper is on analysis of dynamic stability verification requirements included in grid code.
