Evolução do Consumo e Produção de Petróleo no Período de 1965 a 2015

The present article aims to present a historical economic analysis of the observed variations in the values of world oil production and consumption from 1965 to 2015. A linear regression was performed using the data from the BP Statistical Review of World Energy 2016 to do an analysis. Later, graphs were constructed based on the values of production and consumption. Afterwards, the data obtained were further discussed, and correlate with the factors that have influenced these variables, thus obtaining a better understanding of their historical behavior.
