Acute Liver Failure after Subtotal Gastrectomy and Roux‐en‐Y for Gastric Adenocarcinoma
ANZ Journal of Surgery(2020)
摘要
Fig 1. Coronal and axial images from portal venous phase computed tomography (CT) at 6, 10 and 15 weeks postoperatively. The first CT (a and b) was obtained prior to onset of liver failure and demonstrates a normal appearing liver. The CT performed at 10 weeks (c and d) displays marked hypoattenuation of the liver both in absolute terms and relative to the spleen (d) – a sign of moderate to severe hepatic steatosis. Complete resolution of these changes is demonstrated on the repeat CT at 15 weeks (e and f). Note: The patient presented 6 weeks postoperatively to the emergency department with non-specific lower abdominal pain. CT was performed to assess postoperative complications.
