Caraway and cumin

Abstract Caraway (Carum carvi) and cumin (Cuminum cyminum) are considered together because these two plants were confused for their similar smell and flavour profiles and subsequent uses. This chapter provides information on the importance, growing areas, plant development, cropping system and product valorization of caraway and cumin.
