A Case Study of Programs for Enhancing Teaching Competency

본 연구에서는 대학에서 교수역량 지원을 위한 서포터즈 프로그램을 개발하여 실제 운영한 결과에 대한 학습자의 전반자인 인식과 서포터즈 활동으로 인해 나타나는 효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 위해 충청북도 소재 K 대학 교수학습센터에서 운영한 서포터즈 프로그램의 개발 및 운영 절차를 소개하고, 서포터즈 활동에 대한 구체적인 성찰 등을 사례로 제시하였다. 서포터즈 프로그램은 교수체제개발(ISD)의 대표적인 ADDIE 모형을 토대로 진행하였다. 분석 단계는 교수 프로그램을 분석하여 구체적인 요구사항을 도출하였고 설계 단계는 교수지원 요구 도출을 기반으로 서포터즈 프로그램 운영 계획 및 프로그램 만족도 측정 도구를 설계하였다. 개발 단계는 서포터즈 활동 가이드 개발 및 보고서 양식 개발을 진행하였고, 실행 단계는 프로그램 운영 및 교수자 대상으로 프로그램 홍보물 배포를 하였다. 마지막 평가 단계에서는 교수지원 서포터즈 프로그램 결과보고서 및 CQI 보고서 작성을 수행하였다. 프로그램 참여 경험을 토대로 학생들이 서포터즈 프로그램에 대하여 전반적인 인식 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서포터즈 활동에 참여한 학생들은 프로그램에 대해 전반적으로 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 서포터즈 활동에 대한 세부적인 계획과 교수자 지원 방향 등을 팀 별로 고민하고 실행하기 위한 자기주도적인 수행이 촉진되었기 때문이라고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 프로그램 실행 전 사전 교육에 대한 중요성을 높게 인식하고 있었다. 프로그램의 목적, 구체적인 활동 영역, 추후 관리 방안 등의 내용을 안내하여 서포터즈 활동에 대한 수월성을 높였다고 할 수 있다. 마지막으로, 프로그램 만족도 요소 중 추천 의향이 높게 났다. 이는 학습자가 자신이 가지고 있는 지식과 기술 등을 교수자에게 지원해 주는 측면에서 상호작용 효과가 일어났기 때문이라고 할 수 있다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 본 프로그램에 참여한 교수자의 반응을 별도로 분석하여 실질적인 교수실행 효과를 측정해 볼 필요가 있다.This study is a case study on developing and operating supporters programs to support teaching competency. The program was developed based on the ADDIE model. The survey log for satisfaction and supporter activities was compiled and analyzed based on feedback from the students who participated in the supporters program. The research results are as follows. Firstly, learners were generally satisfied with the supporters program, which promoted self-directed performance while giving due consideration to each team’s detailed supporter activities plan as well as methods for increasing the teaching support effect. Secondly, because the program promoted supporter activity efficiency by informing participants about the program’s purpose and specific activities in advance, the participants recognized the importance of receiving such an education prior to the program’s implementation. Lastly, as a result of the interaction effect in terms of learners supporting the instructor with their knowledge and skills, the majority of participants expressed their intention to recommend the program, among other satisfaction indicators.
