High-Yield Few Layered Graphene Wrapped Around Hematite As a Superior Anode Material for Lithium-Ion Battery

A high performance Fe2O3 based anode material is synthesized via a facile and effective one-step P-milling method. With 15-25 layers FLG nanosheets wrapped around, the electrochemical performance of FLG@Fe2O3 composites is greatly improved. P-milling 20h sample reaches a reversible capacity of 758 mAh g-1 after 300 cycles, which equals to 88% of its theoretic capacity. The wrapping structure of FLG nanosheets plays an important role in improving the electric conductivity and restraining the volume change, which is beneficial for capacity and cycle performance. With the superior electrochemical performance, FLG@ Fe2O3 composites prepared via P-milling could be promising as anodes with high performance and long life for lithium-ion batteries. Figure 1
