Abstract
We will review requirements for microdisplays used in wearable Augmented Reality, taking into account different use cases and optical architectures for true see‐trough. Based on this, we will compare current and future expected performance of OLED and LED based microdisplays, including system integration constraints, technology maturity, and manufacturing aspects.
