We use airgun wavelet as seismic source instead of conventional Ricker wavelet. In order to make the airgun wavelet more consistent with actual signatures, a new airgun wavelet modelis used.The wavelet generated by an airgunat 5m waterdepth is simulated. We use a new method based on interpolation in the wave number domain to obtain the finite difference coefficients fora staggered-grid algorithm. Compared with the traditional method, this method shows higher accuracy.We use OpenMP to improve computational efficiency.Finally, the wavefields of some sea models are successfully simulated.
