Time Series Compression in Telecommunication Systems for Environmental Monitoring of Polluting Emissions

The structure of adaptive automated telecommunication system of ecological monitoring is described, which provides collection, processing and forecasting of concentration levels of toxic, explosive and polluting emissions of industrial enterprises. A developed algorithm for compressing time series of pollutant concentrations with data processing based on wavelet decomposition is presented. Results of its modeling by software are given.
