Abstract

Dear Editor, Dermatomyositis (DM) is an autoimmune connective tissue disease. Here, we present a juvenile patient who developed DM associated with antinuclear matrix protein 2 (NXP2) antibody, one of the myositisspecific autoantibodies (MSA), 3 years after the onset of linear cutaneous lupus erythematosus (LCLE). A 6yearold girl with a history of allergic rhinitis presented with linear scaly erythema with depigmentation on her right cheek and lower jaw following the Blaschko’s line (Figure 1a,b).
