A New Harmonics Analysis Algorithm for Electric Power System

The subspace-based MUSIC algorithm is applied to harmonics and inter-harmonics analysis in electric power system, but it is vulnerable to noises with unstable performances in different SNR environments. So the improved cross-spectral MUSIC algorithm is proposed in this paper, utilizing the independence of Gaussian noise sequence. The simulation results show that the cross-spectral MUSIC algorithm can efficiently suppress the influence of noises, and has high frequency resolution, high precision and high stability.
