摘要
Introduction: Educational simulation techniques rely on the use of teaching aids (models - simulators surgery or footwork - actors) to learn all stages of the management of patient. This learning is supervised, gradual and safe. These techniques are the subject of considerable growth internationally, and in recent years at the national level. They respond to ethical imperatives, but also educational goals to overcome the decrease in time spent with patients during medical studies and the growing number of students.Training in pediatric surgery must include five characteristics of this specialty:- The variety of specific surgical procedures and justifying a particular learning.- The low incidence of some congenital malformations that make learning difficult.- The constant evolution of this still young specialty justifying development of new surgical techniques.- The importance of pluriprofessionnal and multidisciplinary care of patients.- The unique relationship between physician - patient - parents.Update: To date, learning simulation pediatric surgery includes several aspects: Initial training of basic skills (surgical gestures - laparoscopic and microsurgical) on suitable media to the child, training on specific clinical or surgical topics (clinical examination of a hip - reduction by taxis of a male inguinal hernia - surgical esophageal atresia treatment - ureteropelvic junction syndrome treatment).Clinical training to emergency situations in collaboration with the pediatric simulation programs (management of cardiac arrest ... ). A multidisciplinary approach by conducting situational scenarii. Conclusion: Simulation training and teaching is now included in medical education. His development in pediatric surgery seems necessary due to the training requirements of this specialty. The development of education curricula incorporating training techniques gestures, the multidisciplinary approach to the practice of the relationship through patient-family and doctors should be encouraged to meet current training requirements.
