摘要
Men and women show different neuropsychological patterns, with men performing better on visuo-spatial abilities (right hemisphere) and women on language skills (left hemisphere). These differences are probably due to different hormonal influences that occur pre-perinatally. SAG women, exposed prenatally to high levels of androgens represent a group of particular interest. We studied memory functions, attention, spatial and verbal abilities, hemispheric and peripheral dominance and global intelligence in a group of SAG patients. Results show a male-like cognitive pattern and memory impairment.
