Simulation Of Driving Axle Noise Of Mini-Bus With Bem

Driving axle assembly is a main part of the vehicle and it is one of the main sources of noise in the transmission. The acoustic simulation software, Virtual. Lab, was employed and in simulation the vibration response was used as the boundary condition of driving axle. Then the vibration, radiation noise of driving axle was calculated out and the simulation results were compared with the experimental ones. These results provide a reliable theoretical basis for reducing driving axle noise.
