Abstract
Bangladesh is one of the most vulnerable countries to climate extremities and change because of its geographic location, low deltaic floodplain, and hydro-meteorological influence of erratic monsoon rainfall and other extreme climate events. By 2050, climate change impact could make an additional 14% of the country extremely vulnerable to floods and dislocate more than 35 million people in the coastal districts. This study has assessed the effect of predicted water levels on the RHD transportation network and cyclone centres in the district Khulna of Bangladesh. The output of the study is the vulnerability evaluation of local inhabitants where it had been shown how people of that region would be affected by the possible inundation catastrophe.
