Identification Of Facial Features Using Techniques Of Processing Of Images

Facial anthropometry has applications in several research areas related to people reactions produced by multimedia, publicity or even military training. Often, these studies need to be performed by gestural recognition experts. For this reason, digital image processing techniques and computer intelligence procedures become useful in this context. This work shows a system for facial gesture identification of joy, surprise and anger expressions in static images, using computer intelligence techniques for anthropometric features measurement and a particular expression is identified by means of computer intelligence. Finally, results are validated by statistical error analysis.
