•The modeling optimizes the sizing and power management of PV household-prosumers.•There is a clear complementary in combining FCR with SFC.•A cost increase ranging between 0.6% and 354.7% occurs for finer data granularity.•Granularity impacts on the best sizing up to -42–28%(PV) -60–28%(bat) -463–4642%(SC).•Normalized battery capacity aging worsens for finer granularity up to 0.2–429%.
