Abstract
提出了一种针对细节丰富的静态图像的压缩算法。它根据图像经小波(Wavelet)分解后系数的特点和人眼视觉特性(HVS)对Shapiro的EZW(Embedded zerotree wavelet)算法进行改进，解决了EZW算法不能有效地压缩细节丰富图像的问题，同时对一般图像的编码仍保留了EZW算法的高效性。
